Private Memorial Pages

You are free to edit your own everlasting Memory Page using an intuitive text editor

In the 14-day trial version of the Memorial Page, you are free to use a WhatYouSeeIsWhatYouGet editor to create content. This tool works exactly like any other text editor you use on a daily basis.

You intuitively add and remove pictures, text, links and files. Our Memorial Page editor works with RTL and LTR languages and various alphabets. You are free to mix the fonts and alphabet. Even in the distant future, you will be able to come back to the website and change its contents. All the data can be deleted at any moment as long as you are able to get access to the account. We only will delete data after we get legally binding advice to do so.

You remain solemnly responsible for the contents of your Memory Page and are only limited by Polish and European Union laws&regulations.

Every data that you put in will be stored on our servers for a minimum of 20 years keeping an indefinitely longer timespan in prospect. The concept is straightforward:

The longer our organization keeps your data alive the more valuable our joint project becomes.

QRcode being mounted on a gravestone

What do You get?

  • we offer a unique option to share your thoughts, genealogy, and love with people who have not been born yet, but whom You love

every private customer gets 2 (two) copies of a rectangular porcelain custom QR code measuring 5 x 5 centimeters and ca. 5 mm thick. Every private customer on Earth gets similarly-looking QR codes in white and black for a similar price (minor exchange rate differences may occur). One of the copies enriches the gravestone, and one of them stays in your family archive.

Why 5x5 cm and why white and black and why porcelain and why a QR code?

Black fits all. We set a standard. It is the most fitting and elegant size plus the black-white gradient is best readable by smartphones. Porcelain itself simply is eternal. We can still see perfectly fine colors in ancient Chinese tableware, 19th-century photography, and 18th-century tableware is still perfectly fine.

You can get any other amount, format, or color, after contacting us via the special-orders@QRremember.com e-mail address. You are also free to reproduce the code as a mosaic, picture, in print, and in other media as you wish and as long as it is respectful making it a part of your gravestone, publication, genealogy table or portrait.

  • Why QR codes? The technology does not require purchasing a license, is timeless and the reading technology is built into smartphones. In future, all people will have something like a smartphone.
  • Why two copies? One of the QR codes goes on the gravestone and one copy stays in your family archive. It can also happen that you break one copy while attempting to attach it to the gravestone. You are still left with one. We always suggest using the service of your local stonemason to mount the porcelain on the gravestone.
  • The downloadable .png - version of the QR code file as it is the most versatile of formats and you can easily use it in different media and in print. You can download this pdf-file, print it out in any size, and attach it to your family albums, books and other publications. The individual link behind the code will remain active forever and can be used in any type of publication an unlimited number of times
  • permanent access to a self-editing tool in which you can add and format text with pictures, PDF files and links as long as you know the login and password.
  • up to 100 MB of space on our servers. Whatever data you upload will be stored on our own servers forever. We do not take responsibility for the long-term availability of external websites linked to your own Memorial Pages. Still, we will take care to maintain the availability of Wikipedia links as long as it takes and Wikipedia exists.
  • everybody can establish a 14-day trial account that vanishes after you decide not to purchase the service, the QR code established in the trial period will become inaccessible and invalid after the 14 days pass by.

Delivery Time

We do not deliver immediately. The codes are burned in Poland in the town called Bolesławiec. The place is famous for its pottery. We send the codes two times a month on the first working day of the month and in the middle of the month. We mainly use the official Polish Post Office for deliveries worldwide. All parcels are properly insured and declared at customs if required so. Taking all of the above into consideration delivery of the physical code could take up to 45 days in Australia and Oceania. For other regions, it usually takes less. After the trial period, the URL of the permanent Memorial Page will not change so you can use the png-version of the code even before you fully pay. You can print it out and add it to your obituary notice.

Memorial Movies

Once you provide us with all the necessary data via the Memory Page we can edit your own Memorial Movie. For this, you might contact our chief editor Mr. Łukasz Barwiński (MemorialMovies@QRremember.com) who will give you a quote. Feel free to have a look at the Memorial Movies Page and contact us via a dedicated e-mail address or the contact form on the main page
